A show at the American Craft Museum in New York offers a window into the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright—literally. Light Screens: The Leaded Glass of Frank Lloyd Wright, through September 2nd, features ornamental glass windows from the architect's most important commercial and residential projects, alongside floorplans and photographs of their original contexts. An installation by sponsor Steelcase cleverly replicates the experience of observing the windows in situ, shedding light on Wright's investigation of the boundary between indoors and out.
The museum is located at 40 West 53rd Street. Call (212) 956-3535 for information or visit www.flwlightscreens.com for information on other cities the exhibition travels to.
