Some of Scandinavia's most distinguished ceramists receive their due in "From the Kilns of Denmark: Contemporary Danish Ceramics" at the American Craft Museum in New York. Most works on view were specially created for the show by a roster of 30 artists, including Gutte Eriksen, Nina Hole, and Bodil Manz. The result of four years' research by curators Wendy Tarlow Kaplan and Hope Barkan, this is the first major exhibition of the genre in two decades.
