We really mean business in our November issue, and that's business with a capital B. Starting Big, with our Interior Design Giants, you can glean and extract all the important info on health care, data that we hope you can put to good use when pounding the pavements. The next bit of business? Design dos from W hotels. Followed by a series of knock-'em-out-of-the-park features—please forgive the Baseball analogy. They'll take you from Amsterdam, where a production company's business thrives in a studio by Maurice Mentjens, to L.A., where Dennis Gibbens, architect to the stars, is dipping his toe in the business of real-estate development—and living above the store—and then practically into orbit with fashion-fabulous sets for Ugly Betty. Definitely not business as usual, we finally packed our bags and flew to Georgia with six dashing design teams. They could best be described as Brave, having only a few full-throttle days to create no-holds-barred installations with carpet tile. These exploits, recorded in a feature that looks like a wondrously Bright kaleidoscope, were made possible by our gracious hosts at Interface: the most generous of partners, the suppliers of matériel, and ultimately the chief barn-raisers.
To everyone who contributed to this state-of-the-business issue, I proudly exclaim, "Bravo!"
