The Anglo-French celebration that is Ochre is entering its 14th year on both sides of the Atlantic. With a handful of lighting and seating introductions, the house party continues.
Two wagon-wheel chandeliers can go brawny or pretty, depending on your choice of pewter or patinated brass. Stylized handmade leaves adorn the double-tiered Eucalyptus chandelier, which has LEDs tucked inside. Standard sizes range from 25½ to 45¼ inches in diameter. There's a single size, 17¾ inches across, for the Arctic Pear chandelier, with its two tiers of handblown glass drops diffusing incandescent light from four 60-watt E12 bulbs. Rectangular versions are available.
Slightly Scandinavian in aspect, the Zeffirelli chair features white, black, brown, or red double-stitched saddle leather stretched over a waxed solid-oak frame 35½ inches high by 34¼ wide by 27½ deep. For serious loungers, the Snooze armchair measures 41 inches deep and comes with a coordinating ottoman. Underneath the upholstery—red, black, brown, and putty leather or several colors of nubuck or mohair velvet—are a frame of beech and cushions filled with feathers or feather-wrapped foam.
