Ginkgo by Textile Arts.
Textile Arts's Marimekko fall collection renders the Finnish style giant's trademark bold designs in cotton. For Valmuska, Erja Hirvi took inspiration from the underside of mushroom caps. Here, the 11- to 20-inch diameter motifs cluster down the center of a solid background. For Pernukka, Hirvi returned to the harvest theme; but this time, a cornucopia of fruits and vegetables are pickled and preserved in jars of all shapes and sizes. Both patterns are available in four colorways. Terttu, an oversize botanical from Aino-Maija Metsola, is bursting with color as a bunch of berries vie for space among leaves against a vibrant purple ground. Ginkgo, from designer Kristina Isola, displays extra-large Ginkgo leaves floating, amber-like, in a solid background. Each leaf measures nearly 21 inches in diameter, with a 2-inch stem. It is offered in four colorways, including burnt orange on khaki. 888-343-7285; txtlart.com. circle 464
