I went to the NYIGF last week so it’s time to talk accessories. I can’t tell you that this is a thorough review, but here are somethings that are definitely worth a chat.
Then there is the bowl from Hella Jongerius for Design with Conscience. There is something so real about this bowl; it’s thick but so delicate. Design with Conscience is a program to manufacture and produce products in accordance with humanitarian and environmentally friendly principles founded by Artecnica in 2002. Buying this has got to make you feel good, right? Peruvian artisans are responsible for the ceramic and bead work.
Neo-Utility had some great stuff, too, and our friend Kip Kotzen did a great job showing us around the booth. This may not seem like a big deal unless you have spent some time looking for good table legs. These are simple and beautiful and are available in some great colors.
I also thought that these lights from the A+ Booth by I&M Iacoli Mcalister were simple, clever, and fun.
