Las Vegas City Center
“When you start using senses you’ve neglected, your reward is to see the world with completely fresh eyes.” - Barbara Sher
Las Vegas has endured a few fashions in which to dress herself for each decade, which started with the cityscape dressed up with neon lights and blinking colorful signs. From the basic stage lights, the city has matured to bring its own Paris, New York, Egypt, Venice, and even a Northern Italian lakeside village along the Strip during recent past decade. Las Vegas has also given rebirth through celebrating lifestyles of rock and roll, sea treasure hunters, fashionistas, and MTV reality party lovers.
Catching up with rapid design trend births, Las Vegas has done it again with introducing the urban design details at City Center. City Center is where a new urban collage comes together as a community within the Las Vegas strip. The complexity of design details is not only sophisticated, but the details are infinitely implemented to excite our visual sensory experience. Subsequently, City Center has been assembled with highly professional and awarded celebrity ranking designers and architects. These design details resemble nothing from previously implemented casinos and hotels in Las Vegas.
As I arrived to the entrance of the Aria at City Center, I was immediately greeted with the design surprises. It is refreshing to be greeted with explorative and sophisticated atmosphere, different than past’s straightforward thematic settings. The fantasy here is a new kind of theme where guests can be inspired with glimpses of designs. Although, I am not sure how much of these sophisticated details are truly appreciated by majorities of guests, but in no doubt, some of design details would spark one’s senses.
Please enjoy some of my snap shots I’ve taken from City Center.
