TAKE THIS CLASS: Architecture as Activism
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area and believe design can make a difference, here’s your chance to walk the walk. The UC Berkeley Extension sustainable design program is offering a class called Architecture as Activism, which is one part lecture course, one part "Free Design Clinic," taught and led by Matthew Miller. Students will meet once a week to learn about design activism and more importantly, provide pro bono "walk-ins welcome" architectural, interior, and design services to anyone who walks in the door: nonprofits, small business owners, community members, and more.
