Marina68's Fresh Take on Cork
We all know that cork is quirky and green, as it can be harvested without cutting down trees, is biodegradable, and can be molded into all kinds of forms. Barcelona-based design firm Marina68 has a new collection that highlights the best of cork's material properties, from blobject benches for kids to metal-and-cork toadstools. All of their production happens locally, too. The Rockit bench for kids is stable and has no sharp edges, providing a sturdy yet safe fixture in the nursery, while the Tupa stool combines colorful metals and the warmth of cork in a really fun way. Check out their collection and inquire about availability via the firm's website.
